ConVocation 2025: Explore and Build Pathways to the Divine

There is a temptation in many religions to seek the Divine outside of the material world. While many Pagan faiths agree that there are other realms, Paganism sees the natural and physical world itself as Divine. This worldview can be as rewarding as it is challenging; it cautions against expecting saviors who will take us from this sphere, yet it teaches us to see the profound beauty and meaning within it. In this class we will discuss the origins of human religion within the natural world, and see how harmony in our physical sphere can be restored by returning to the root of all human spirituality.

Frater Barrabbas has written a book that details his experiences with a group of fallen Angels known as the Nephilim, those famous Sons of God in chapter 6 of Genesis who saw the daughters of men and came to earth to marry them. This book, Liber Nephilim, not only delves deeply into the narrative of these myths and folklore, but he also developed the magical rituals and ceremonies that would allow other magicians to conjure these spirits, and speak to them in our current age. In this discussion, Frater Barrabbas will present his story and discuss what he experienced over three decades, how and why he wrote this book, and how magicians today can use the rituals and spirit seals in it to contact these fallen angels.
